The most cuddly form of the backrest „Classic“

The notion of the bench by the stove has always existed. It has been the place in the warm parlor where one settled to warm up after a long walk in the evening cold. The ceramics manufactory Sommerhuber has extended this tradition and designed the first tiled stove that is actually like a sofa. The backrest is part of the tiled stove which gives off the comfortable infared heat and thus invites to spend a cozy couching afternoon with the entire family – and this sofa is most definitely the most coveted place in the living room or in the kitchen.

The ceramics manufactory Sommerhuber has designed the first back plate in the classic Chesterfield design. In doing so, the designers have taken the backrest of an upholstered armchair as an example and designed the ceramic back plate „Classic“, which combines the unique coziness of a tiled stove with the known advantages of an upholstered armchair – a beautiful, comfortably warm and cozy interpretation of the tiled stove.
